We are continuing our new Junior Membership program to accommodate students who aspire to become dance teachers and possibly future DMA members.

How to Become a Junior Member:

Potential junior members must be between the ages of 13 and 19, have been dancing for a minimum of three years and be currently studying under a DMA member (of good standing)

Students will be required to fill out an interest application, be nominated by a DMA member, write an essay on why they would like to become a junior member, and what they wish to gain from the program, and submit a resume

Junior members must attend a minimum of 1 meeting and pay the annual dues of $30 to the local chapter

Junior members receive a $5 discount on workshops, may obtain syllabi to become a member, and will have the chance to teach and choreograph

**junior members are permitted at all DMA Grand Body Meetings, but have no voice or vote**
